The Sponsored Skydive/Parachute Jump 17th Sept 05;-
We would just like to say a huge thank you to the following people who all joined me (Philip, Megan's dad) on the 17th/18th of Sept at Peterlee Parachute Centre where we all lept out of a plane at 12,000 ft to raise more than £5,000 for Megan's Appeal. Having done it myself, I was the first to jump!, I know what they all went through and for me in particular it was a once in a lifetime experience, it was fantastic and horendous at the same time, never again!, my fellow 14 jumpers were, Paul Mordue, Jane Parker, Michelle Smith, Helen Armstrong, Sam Mowforth, Vikki Hurst, Karen Surridge, Chris Nellist, Damon Horner, Richard Heslop, George Hatherley, Simon Roberston, Neil Armstrong & Hugh Medcalfe
We are looking for volunteers to jump again in spring 06 so if you think you've got what it takes please get in touch!

Despite the cold weather we had a fantastic day when a team made up of north east celebrities took on a side from Northumbria Police at Prudhoe Town FC ground. There was plenty for all to do and in the match the final score was 4-1 to the police, I played for the police and scored our 3rd goal, it was a cracker!!A huge thanks to Paul Mordue, event organiser, Prudhoe Town FC, Prudhoe Fire Station ,John Carver, Paul Mooney, Lara Rostrum, Chris Par, Paul & Sarah Mead, all the rest of the guys who played and officiated and all that came down and braved the cold.Prudhoe Town FC have been very kind and invited us back (in the summer when it's warmer- we hope!) so we are looking for volunteers to take part in a future match, please get in touch via the contact details on our homepage, thanks!!

Roy 'Chubby' Brown
We recently made our annual pilgrimage to see the comic genius, Roy 'Chubby' Brown. Whilst we appreciate Chubby may not be to everyone's taste we are huge fans and when Chubby found out about Megan he invited all our party back stage to meet him after his performance. What a true gentleman he is and he gave us a bag full of specially signed merchandise to auction off in the hope of raising money for Megan so why not check out our On-Line Auction page and take a look at the various items signed specially for Megan's Appeal. When your finished browsing Megan's website then why not click HERE to visit Chubby's!! Thanks Chubbs!!!
