On the 28th of June 07, Megan along with 9 other children had their courage in the face of serious illness recognised by being awarded bravery awards at a ceremony at St.James Park, Newcastle.
The awards were presented by ITV news presenter Philippa Tomson.
We would firstly like to thank Paul & Sarah Mead for nominating Megan for this prestigious award. In addition
we would like to thank the north east charity Brave Hearts for awarding Megan her award and for their
hospitality on the day. Megan had a fantastic time as we are sure all the children did.
We are so very pleased and proud that after 7 years of battling this terrible illness, the courage and bravery
